As Sweeney Conrad’s tax practice director and a principal, Marty draws on his wide-ranging experience to provide personalized consulting, compliance, and tax planning services to many of our clients — including closely held businesses, executives, family groups, and high net worth individuals.
Marty has experience with a range of complex accounting issues. He’s worked extensively with both federal and state tax minimization, as well as estate and gift planning, equity-based compensation, and the establishment, purchase, and sale of businesses.
He works with a wide range of clients across industries like real estate, construction, professional services, medical and dental practices, manufacturing, technology, private equity, and retail.
Marty enjoys working with family groups to set them up for future financial success through the transition of wealth. He likes to be more than just a tax resource, and proactively looks for ways to work alongside his business clients to help them achieve their financial goals and help them through complex transactions.
Marty began his career at Sweeney Conrad and has been with the firm for over 20 years.
